Hole in bedroom wall

Help needed please, im not sure if this is the right place to post this but im really at a loss as to what to do or who to contact for help.
I came home from work.today to be met by the builder who is renovating a flat nextdoor, saying he had had a small accident when i went to look there is a hole in my daughters bedroom wall, fortunately she is away at university so is not home at the moment i dread to think what would of happened had she of been at home. See attached photos. Any advice would be gratefully recieved.

I would contact my insurers and let them deal with it

If you own it contact your insurers.

They will asses the damage and pay for repairs and then contact the builders insures to cover the costs

If rented contact your land lord

Also - do the works come under the part wall act?

No idea what they are doing apart from renovating the top floor flat in a 3 story end terrace house.

I would contact your buildings insurance company at 9am this morning. You have no idea what the builder has done and therefore how much structural damage has been done. They should send a loss adjustor who will assess the situation. Personally I wouldn't be happy with Bodgit the Builder 'sorting' it.
