Are kallax units really the best?

We’re building a play room and have one long wall. Are the Kallax units with the multiple pull out boxes the best option? Or have you found issues?
Are most toys bigger than that?

Thanks!

I have the Argos version, much cheaper but my friend has the Ikea ones and they are nicer, larger and more sturdy.

Ours are fine though - they fit LOADS in

They are great, fit most things apart from massive nerf guns. Perfect for Lego, dinosaurs, all the stuff you want to sort a bit, but still just shove in a box so it’s out the way.
DS1 has just decided it’s time to move on so ours is in our garage now.

They are good however you should look at trofast from IKEA too!

Yes, we have a long wall with them along. Works well. Bigger stuff sits on top out of reach.

I like kallax for sheer volume of storage, but the cubes can be a bit big. The trofast trays or just open bookshelves are better for storing toys in a way younger children can access and make choices from.
