My ceiling collapsed as a result of water leaking. Years ago I had a leak above the ceiling which I had repaired. Then al of a sudden water started leaking which I thought would just be a drip but within hours the ceiling collapsed.
The insurance refuses to pay on the basis that the previous leak from years ago was the cause of the ceiling collapsing and they are claiming ware and tear as well!
Anyone experienced this and what advise would you give me going forward?
