okay so talk to me about uttoxeter!

dh has stumbled on this town...... teaching posts popping up all blinking over!! help! we like belper at the moment though

Near Uttoxeter, predictive text!

I'm very local, lived here 17 years. I work in Uttoxeter. It's changed a lot over the years. Good schools in town and in Ashbourne. There is a three tier middle school system in uttoxeter. Bear Coffee is lovely, there a nice restaurant called Marios, there's a cinema, lovely new leisure centre, ice rink, race course. The shopping centre called the Maltings is a bit run down but there is a cracking clothes shop there called Essentials which sells lovely cheap end of stock clothes and gifts and they are very helpful and a brilliant butchers. They have a makers market once a month. I'm very fond of the old town and it's a damn sight cheaper than the nearby Derbyshire Dales towns such as Ashbourne, Beloer and Wirksworth.

another job has appeared in stafford! within commuting from uttoxeter still. Will have a look at stafford anyway. is stafford okay?

Ooh what school? I went to school in stafford and taught nearby. Yes it's fine - a bit faded but lots of nice places.

stafford grammar. called the U middleschools and off the tops of their heads, both have space! so bar the official admission thing it would be picking which one fits ds best. so its a big thumbs up for uttoxeter !!!!! I hope dh gets a job round here sooner rather than later now, I `m well excited and ready to sell and move :)

Oldfields and Windsor park are both in the town and ryecroft is out at Rocester which is where JCB is.

The stafford grammar school was set up from private funding when the local authority went comprehensive and closed the boys grammar and girls high school. As far as I know it's a very good popular school on a great site.

I'm the same if I want something I can't settle until I get it - now! Keep visualising it and you'll make it happen 😀
