House was replastered. All walls treated with a water/paint mix before they were properly painted.

No issues in any other room but the bathroom. Room was finally painted with dulux bathroom paint.

Its now peeling in lots of places. Its awful. Not sure what to do about it

Im hoping its nit sanding all the paint off and how would i stop it happening again????

Did somebody put glue on the walls?

Post some pics please. Include something to show scale.

Does the extractor fan work?

I've had this problem too.

I sanded the area (about 2 square inches inside the window recess), repainted with diluted dulux before a fresh coat of bathroom dulux but it's bubbled up again!

Glue could have caused mine but I thought it would've been sanded away by now? I do have a working extractor fan.

I have had a continued problem with this over several years on newly plastered bathroom ceiling I am a decorators daughter and always use a time served decorator for my decorating, we are both well educated on preparation of newly plastered walls but still the paint kept flaking off the ceiling.

I think we have finally stopped it, by rubbing down thoroughly and then using Zinsser Peel Stop. Standard Zinsser didn’t work, but this stuff seems to have finally sorted it.

I didn’t do the repair myself though, the decorator did it and prepped it all properly.

It’s been a long journey, I also have a working fan, leave the window open after showers etc.

Zinsser Peel Stop is the best remedy I’ve found. So far.......

I wasn't able to upload pics using my tablet. Hopefully it'll work now

I'll try the zinseer thanks.

Do I need to resand the whole bathroom or just the flaking areas?

I wondered if it was the Dulux paint.

We sanded just the peeling areas and painted over with the Zinsser.
