House has pine doors. They are an orangy woody colour. Im tempted to pain them white.

Is the orangeness something that can be lightened??

I just painted all mine white. Took aaaages but totally worth it. Makes the house so much lighter.

They could be sanded and re-stained another colour.

I have the same problem myself and wondered if I should sand, scrub with bleach or paint but when I googled I saw this:

“When pine is exposed to sunlight it causes a chemical change in the wood the results in the wood taking on a golden or orange tint. This is a natural part of the aging process for pine. When pine is stained, it can make the orange effect even more pronounced.”

So if I do sand it and take the top layer off it will go back to orange anyway so I think I may as well just paint.

When you paint use an undercoat that stops colour bleeding through. Treat the pine with this first. Then standard eggshell paint. Not gloss.

Burn them.
