Changing the conditions on a leasehold property

Basically exactly what the title says,
Is it possible to change the conditions on my leasehold property. I really want to start childminding but we are only leaseholders of our property. Is this even possible?

You'd need to apply to the party that owns the freehold/ their appointed management company. It's unlikely they will change the lease (and if they did they'd charge you a small fortune to do so), but they may grant you permission to operate the business from home (again at a cost).

Would they ever find out if you do it without telling them? We're supposed to apply for permission for satellite dishes, pets etc, but they've never chased any of us that haven't.
