Hiya
I live not too far away from Monmouth and can say it's a lovely small market town. I guess though it depends how you would evaluate a town!
It has very good schools, both public and private, some nice shops and it's easy to get to many other places from Monmouth too.

Sounds just the place for me,I am looking for somewhere with a small population,where everyone knows each other and a bit of a community(much the same as where we are now)
