Show me your dark/coloured kitchens please!

I love them on Pinterest but doubt is creeping in!

If you have a dark kitchen, are you happy or is it bothering you (now it’s particularly dark!)

I really like teal and duck egg type colours too but our extension is going to be quite modern and I’m worried that would be too country style.

I’d love to see some real ie not professional pictures!

If you take a look on DIY kitchens 'real kitchens' they have tons of examples of dark kitchens there! I found that really useful :-)

Dark coloured units don't necessarily make for a dark coloured kitchen. Our has been installed for over a year now and I still like the colour. One consideration - we've got painted units and the dark colour does show up marks much easier than the light colour units.

Thank you! We because of the chimney breast we needed some odd size units and hence had to go down the 'custom' route. We went with Pineland in the end. Would have no hesitation in recommending them.

The lights are from John Lewis - 'Warwick chandelier'. There's normally a couple on ebay...
