Make sure it's tidy and no Xmas decs still up

No clutter! Shove everything in cupboards before hand. Kerb appeal.

Blobby10 · 13/01/2019 19:29

switch all your lights on and make sure the curtains are pushed back to let as much natural light in as possible

Dont forget to tidy up any toys out of the garden

Put the toilet lid down!! It makes me cringe when I see photos of bathrooms and cloakrooms with the loo seat up

Thanks everyone I have been busy today packing bits & decluttering the things I like off the shelves lol

Just now trying to set up each room, stupid idea booking for early Monday morning!

I plan to follow them round each room preparing before they photo!

Clear tops of cupboards and wardrobes

Take photos of each room on your phone (from a couple of angles) to check what looks odd or out of place, it can really help.

I bought some expensive fake flowers. They look great in the photos and look good during viewings too.

Disagree with Blobby. If I see photos with all the lights on I assume it's a dark/dingy house & it's off putting.
