How to... remove a small amount of wallpaper which wraps round a corner

I need to unpeeled some wallpaper. It wraps round a corner onto a painted wall . How can I unpeel the wrap around bit and a small amount off the facing wall?

We have someone coming into work on the wall which is currently painted. The wallpaper is staying (certainly for the moment) so I need to protect it. I’m hoping to unpeel the paper so the builder can do the work then reappear round the corner. The ‘round the corner’ wall will be covered by a huge fridge so it doesn’t matter what it looks like but the corner will be visible!

Help!

I’d put some masking tape over the edge of it rather than try to move it

That won’t work, the work he’s doing involves the corner too!

You could try steaming it to loosen the glue and that might make it sticky enough to peel back without damaging the wallpaper.
