If you had old single huge radiators replaced...

Did you have them replaced with radiators of a similar size so the floor didn’t have to be pulled up?

Or did you go for narrower radiators and have the floor (we have laminate in one room, carpet in two others) pulled up to get at the pipe work and did the flooring need replacing afterwards because of the old holes?

Do you still get people putting in 6 foot wide radiators or are they a really old fashioned thing now?

Surely the pipework can just be extended if a smaller radiator is fitted?

Is this a loaded question?
You just have to decide based on cost, if you're getting it done ask for a quote each way. If you have large radiators it's better to keep them large to maintain the boilers efficiency.
