We complete tomorrow... it has been a long time coming

This has been soooo drawn out and difficult

We sold our house in Sep and have been squashed into a v v small rental, living out of boxes since then. Our first purchase fell through. We offers on this house end of oct and we complete tomorrow. I seriously seriously cannot wait!!
I have to work for a couple of hours then I’m off to rent a rug doctor and buy a Christmas tree!!! And move quite a few boxes! Hurray!!

Congratulations!! We also complete tomorrow, but we're first time buyers. We had the offer accepted at the end of August and it feels like it has taken forever, mainly due to our incompetent solicitor. Can't wait to get the keys now!

Rug doctor, my local small supermarket said driving listene was ok if paying on C/c. Though it does sound far more complicated than it should be... and they wouldn’t let me book it in advance! I’ll be v grumpy if I get there and they’re all booked out!!!

Do you have a box in the car with the kettle, tea bags, milk, teaspoons, biscuits, toilet roll and a few spare light bulbs? Also cleaning stuff and kitchen roll. If not, you need one! We decided to have a takeaway on our first night but despite enormous amounts of planning had forgotten to leave out a set of plates and cutlery. Doh. We managed to dig some out in the end. Other useful things are to have sets of clean bedding in the car + PJs.
