I would worry about that bamboo too
It does look very clinical but I'm sure it will be better with a bit of colour and some furniture

Went to view today and it was just horrendous. Steel frame built so bloody cold plus was told if I insulated then the next buyer wouldn't be able to get a mortgage so would be hard to shift!! Bamboo was an issue, back garden was dark as anything, and bedroom 3 was tiny.

That wall of electric socket will be hidden by the TV stand, you can plug TV, sky box, DVD player, game system in without needed an extension thing. Very handy.
I like it. It would suit a young family very well. Well feinced garden to play, nice open plan.

Sorry I missed your update, thats a real shame you hate it.

I wouldn't buy a property that didn't have a closeable door between the kitchen and living room.
Other than that looks fine.

I assume that's the going price in that area? You could buy a 5 bed detached for £325k here.

wewillrememberthem · 11/11/2018 09:46

I thought great, toilet seat should be down and I don't like the mix of tiles in the kitchen but apart from that a nice blank canvas.

However as a family with pre schoolers I think the open plan layout would work well but you don't have another downstairs room so there'd be no escaping their toys etc.

wewillrememberthem · 11/11/2018 09:49

There are others in the area which are semi detached and bigger for less. The Bly thing I'd be thinking about it school catchment areas!

You might want to be prepared for some work in a few years. Looks like it has been bought to sell so a fairly cheap whitewash job. The fitted areas may not be the best quality.

Chocolatedeficitdisorder · 11/11/2018 10:37

This one looks like a better property for the money.

Im not sure I'd want to live near a big building site although I guess you would have to find out how close the new stadium would be.

Keep enough by to put a downstairs toilet in like the neighbours. Have you visited? Be prepared for it to be a lot smaller than the enticingly large downstairs shots. As with all these styles of houses, the third bedroom is tiny. I agree, it looks like it has been done up to look like a blank canvas but not necessarily done well.

Oops. Hadn't read your update.
