We've already found a house - plus this is over budget - but WOW

Churchfield House, Church Lane, Pudsey, Leeds, West Yorkshire

It’s lovely, but are there no gardens?

WhenIWasAYoungWarthog · 09/10/2018 21:23

That’s gorgeous. Bet it’s a bloody nightmare to keep warm though.

ShirleyPhallus · 09/10/2018 21:23

Oh my god that is LITERALLY my ideal house

I am in love

(The kitchen is a bit weird tho right!)

ShowOfHands · 09/10/2018 21:27

I really dislike it.

I don't like converted churches anyway but that's just so over stylised.

ToBeClear · 09/10/2018 21:39

First thing I thought was those are bloody high ceilings for heating! I think it's amazing

Faster · 09/10/2018 21:40

It’s be a nightmare to heat and would also mean living in Putseh. No ta.

MissMarplesKnitting · 09/10/2018 21:42

Bath in bedroom. No no no no noooooo

MarshaBradyo · 09/10/2018 21:42

I really don’t like it
Not even keen on the old church windows and really not keen on the style

FantasticBadger · 09/10/2018 21:44

I think it's beautiful, it's very hard to do a good church conversion. Lovely!

Branleuse · 09/10/2018 21:44

That would be freezing in winter. Pretty tho

IntentsAndPorpoises · 09/10/2018 21:45

If I had £750k I wouldn't live in Pudsey.

hugoagogo · 09/10/2018 21:46

Jesus, no it's dreadful and in Pudsey too! No thanks.

costacoffeecup · 09/10/2018 21:46

It's amazing. But I think it would give me the creeps. I can't put my finger on why though.

BumbleNova · 09/10/2018 21:47

Vomit. Truly awful. It's like footballers wives, seriously naff. You would have to strip it and start again. I'm actually offended by what a terrible job they have done with such a beautiful building.

MarshaBradyo · 09/10/2018 21:47

I find it creepy too

Mrskeats · 09/10/2018 21:48

Don’t like it
Something wrong about living in a church imho.

AnElderlyLadyOfMediumHeight · 09/10/2018 21:50

The conspicuous-consumption fittings/furnishings are a dreadful clash ith the beautiful building. Urgh.

Ohyesiam · 09/10/2018 21:52

I can see it’s been done with love, but I really don’t like it. Too gody, too try hard and really quite creepy.

drspouse · 09/10/2018 21:53

Agree elderly.
I'd love to live in a building like that but not done up in a style that will be dated in 5 minutes.

dangerrabbit · 09/10/2018 21:54

Lovely windows but why has such a big space been built with no storage?

Justwanttoweeinpeace · 09/10/2018 21:56

If I could pick it up, shake out the OTT fixtures and fittings and plonked it down a long way from Pudsey, I'd buy it like a shot.

SwedishEdith · 09/10/2018 21:59

God, I think it's horrible. Church conversions are usually rubbish anyway because of the windows. It's so uncosy and the kitchen is vile.

Notso · 09/10/2018 22:04

It hasn't been done sympathetically at all. Which is a shame because it's a beautiful building.
The kitchen is particularly awful.

AlevelConfusion · 09/10/2018 22:09

Ooh no, not my cup of tea. Not very cosy, is it?

littlebillie · 09/10/2018 22:10

I'm not freaked out by much but that is a weird conversion
