Quotes for alcove shelving and units

Got a quote (I know I need to get some more) and it was much more than I expected. Wondered if anyone has had this done recently and how much it cost?
Quote is for units on both sides with shelving above (same price for floating or cased in shelves).

DH built ours in the end. Quotes we had were around 2k.

You could look at diyalcovecabinets.Com if you’re remotely handy - they were priced at around 1k for 2 when we looked.

Just done the same last week, was quoted £1,450, £2,225 and £2,140. Only wanted cupboard on one side.

We are also going to do it ourselves. Have done before as pretty handy and it wasn't hard but is hard to find time around work/life.

Paid £850 in NW for a fairly good job (he wasn't the tidiest of workers)

Jali here too. The online planning tool give you lots of flexibility and you can see what's expensive and what's not. For example shallow depth shelves are an awful lot cheaper than deep ones.
