Is it possible to get a 40k extension in SW London?

There's lots of information online that suggests that you can build extensions in London for £2000 per m² but is it really possible? Are good builders prepared to take on 40k jobs?
I want to extend our living room about 14m² (3.5x4) and to keep costs down I'd be happy to just use existing patio door opening. So far, I've had trouble getting anyone out to quote so now I'm wondering about good solid roof conservatories.
I've been quoted 37k for a gable end design in grey aluminium with 2 velux, bifolds at end and one side and a full height wall on the other side. (A bit like this : www.conservatoryoutlet.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/solid-roof-orangeries-8-280x205.jpg )
I'm happy with how it looks (it's a very plain 60s house) but wonder how much more it would be for an extension that could be properly open to the house.

That looks nice. Does the £37k include everything like flooring etc?

No, I didn't want to include flooring as I'm going to redo the living room and carry it through. I think it would be nice just not sure if it's a sensible option!

But think..hope it includes everything else - it was just an initial quote

My Uncle used this company for an orangery & they also installed the windows at my own property in SW19. They were fantastic. My uncles Orangery cost £2,732 per sqm when worked backwards. All they had to do was paint & have the floor tiled. They use his for marketing, will include the link of the photo of his.

Thank you MumsRus, I'll check them out; the build of the orangery looks very impressive
