A good pest control company in London?

I am forced to look for help after dangerous damage to wiring and mice repeatedly coming back in so I think the problem isn’t limited to our flat but outside too.

Please can anyone recommend a good company to use ? Is it worth it as can we otherwise just buy safe outdoor traps ourselves? I am desperate to crack the problem but last time used professionals they removed all their traps and the mice just came back.

Can’t recommend a company because I was renting when I had mice and not sure who they used. But for it to be successful they have to block up every hole they can get through. They can fit through a hole the size of a 5p I think, so that will include holes in places you’d never thought of, like where pipes come through the floor to a radiator, for example. They block them with mesh or wire wool. It took two visits but that sorted it for me.

They breed so fast that it’s just really hard to kill them fast enough with traps.

Also put all food into sealed containers so there is nothing for them to eat. And clear work surfaces and floors of crumbs.

I’ve got a cat now and I don’t even get insects in the house, so that’s another option

I found all the council did was put than poison which did not solve the problem for the long term. I found a pest control company on Trusted Traders who not only blocked holes but put a cap on drainage holes, which has solved the problem. Don’t have the details as I changed phone but check on Trusted Traders for options in your area. Good luck

Pestology is really good with rats. Not sure about mice, but you could call them.

I don't live in London but when I was googling pest control I came across a firm who guarantee to mouse proof your house. They block up absolutely every possible entry point then guarantee it for five years or something. It's really expensive but they get great reviews because it actually works. Can't remember the name but I'm sure they're easy enough to find.

I have recently moved from Muswell Hill to Hertfordshire and we had a mouse problem in our house in Muswell Hill on and off for around 18 months. We tried a couple of companies but the last company that we used were brilliant. I am always reccomending them as they were great and nice people to deal with. They were called Catch it Pest Control.
