Karndean / Amtico alternatives, anyone?

I want to lay wood look LVT flooring in our new open plan kitchen / dining room. Husband wants solid wood but I want Karndean or similar as that's what we had in our previous house and it was so practical. Can anyone recommend any other brands than Karndean which are good quality but not ridiculously expensive? Need to get some samples to show my husband that it will look OK Wink

Quickstep are very good, they do glue down or click

I'll look them up, thanks @Tobuyornot99

Amtico is fantastic. Looks real but wears so well- especially if you have kids. No one can tell one of my floors in a period house is Amtico but I can because if it was real wood it would be fucked by now!

Thanks so much for the recommendations!

@lakehouse that's why I don't want proper wood! Especially in the kitchen!

I second Camaro flooring. I've had it put in my new bathroom and it's just lovely. Waterproof and scuff proof four kids and 1 year in it wearing very well. Looks brand new!!

We have Polyflor Expona Beveline - Polyflor is Karndean's parent company. The flooring is usually sold for commercial use, but you can buy it for around £18psm which is a lot cheaper than retailers will charge for Karndean or Amtico.

Thanks for the recommendation @wowfudge sounds great.

Lots of options here, will give me a good starting point! Thanks guys!

We found an independent fitter and he insisted on buying the flooring himself but he didn't add any mark up - he wanted to be sure it was handled and stored as it should be prior to fitting.

Just had 500 sq metres of Karndean fitted, looks fabulous.
