Wetroom Furniture

My disabled mum is having a restroom installed as she can no longer get into the bath.
The work has started today and she asked the builders (own home but council grant to pay part so their guys) said the furniture we picked isn't suitable as its a restroom so the furniture in time will soak up the damp especially from the floor.
I'd obviously not thought of that and a quick Google indicates a lack of suitable furniture. My mum's a pensioner so lovely fitted furniture at £500 a piece is out.
We were wanting maybe a tall cupboard and a small unit for the shampoos, cleaning products, towels, incontinence items etc etc
What do people but in wetrooms?! Help!

Try ikea, maybe Molger or Muskan and then get boxes to put stuff in

Rubber feet on the bottom of the furniture will help and also positioning it furthest from the shower

Wall hung? Not on the floor at all! Towel racks. Heated towel radiator is a must. Get a big one for towel storage! You are getting underfloor heating aren’t you? Otherwise it will be a cold wet floor in winter.
