We are planning to rip out our ensuite shower and do a full replacement. OH can get discount for tiles and shower door . We live in London. How much would you think a ball park figure would be?

Do you want budget, mid-range or top of the range? You could spend under £1K to several K just on tiles and shower door. Are you DIYing or getting someone in?

We will get someone into do the work . I think mid range would be fine. Door and tiles are excluded from the eventual price, so I guess the price of ripping out old shower ,new shower tray , connecting all pipes to new shower and the tiling is what I am looking for please

I would guesstimate around 1.5-2K if they are supplying cement, grout tile strips, silicon any plumbing parts and the shower tray could be anything from £100 - 500.

What the hell is a "ball park figure"?

specialsubject · 05/08/2018 14:25

a standard and well known term for a rough estimate. temper, temper...

I spent £1500 plus vat on the shower alone.

Thanks to everyone who replied . It is hard to get an idea of what is a good price and what is not. I will start organising some quotes from companies .
