IKEA - pick, deliver and assemble?

Does anyone know how I go about arranging this instore? I've previously ordered online and had to wait a long time, but threads on here suggest that it's much quicker to arrange it instore.

So how do I do it? Is there a desk that I just present myself at with a list?

Roughly what delivery timescales do they work to? (I'm in the delivery area for the Wembley store.) Will they deliver to a 4th floor flat? (The online delivery guys did, but they were IKEA - I've heard the instore delivery is outsourced.)

Can I arrange assembly at the same time? Will they be able to assemble the same day as delivery?

Anything else I need to know?

Thanks for your help. The website just says "ask instore" but I don't want to make a wasted trip with a toddler in tow.

Phone and ask?

When we went at New Year to our local store we ordered a bed and some desks etc and all were delivered the next day. We didn’t, however, order the assembly too, but wish we had! As the previous poster said, just call them.

I just had a delivery from ikea

The Wembley store is my local one too. I went in and was going to get it from in store delivery, but it was actually cheaper to do it via the online service as you don't get charged for picking, and it's half price at the moment if you spend over 300.

I think I went in on a Wednesday / Thursday and it was delivered on Saturday afternoon.

Assembly is via task rabbit I'm not entirely sure how it's booked. When it says ask in store could you just ring them up and ask?
