Hi looking for some advice.
I'm considering getting an extension on my 1980's London house.
We have a conservatory which we would get rid of and replace with a proper extension. I'm also considering going out to the side. There is only about a meter to the boundary wall but it might be worth it. Maybe up two floors to the side.
I contacted a builder but they asked for plans.
Is it normal to get those done first? I wanted to get s rough idea on price first. With the side in particular I need to see if it will be worth it.
Has anyone done an extension in a side passage? I want to squeeze in a wc and office space.
