Little Greene colours

I am so uninspired by them compared to F&B. I have heard the paint is better so would love to get some samples. I think I’m just much more familiar with F&B (great at marketing aren’t they). But even comparing the colour charts I’m still not impressed.

Can anyone recommend any Little Greene colours? I’m looking for a deep green, dark blue, very dark grey, light grey and off white. Not all for the same room Grin

I am planning on Woad for my hall/landing. It’s dark blue but not as dark as Hicks Blue, which I love but think will be too dark for that area at night.

I’ve recentl painted a wall with citrine which I absolutely love.

I've painted my front room with juniper ash and it's gorgeous (imo!). Also have their paint in my bathroom, love the colour choice and the quality is great. Can't stand F&B paint personally

Just be careful if you decide to use the Intelligent Matt in any room which gets condensation.

It is supposed to be suitable for Bathrooms / Kitchens but definitely isn't.

I have streaks and drips all over my Bathroom walls. The painter has been back and repainted the walls but they are just the same despite having put three coats on.

Juniper ash is a fantastic dark blue.

Also the French grey for dark grey and rusling for off-white - almost - pink

Hicks Blue and Deep Space Blue are both beautiful.

Arewehomeyet · 02/08/2018 21:56

Thank you I’ll look into all of these tomorrow. And avoid intelligent Matt

Intelligent Matt is absolutely fine in dry rooms. I have it in several bedrooms and in my office.

Plughole3 · 02/08/2018 22:53

Arewehomeyet · 02/08/2018 23:13

No but I will do thanks

We have used dock blue in our dining room and I love it!

I painted my flat in the four different colour scales of French Grey. It's lovely and really changes throughout the year/daylight.

Welcome Deep is another beautiful sleepy grey/purple for bedrooms.

I used Little Greene Ceviche and it's lovely.

I have slaked lime deep and it is a very good neutral that comes in four tones.

That’s a nice grey. Thanks.

We used Little Greene on our front door. The quality isn't a patch on F&B. We used F&B modern emulsion throughout the interior of our house and 2 years on it still looks fresh, wipes clean brilliantly.

We only used Little Greene because I wanted a racing green for the front door which F&B don't do. I don't know what their interior paints are like though to be fair but feel unlikely to try them.
