i need to decide on a colour for my downstairs loo. I CANT DECIDE! my brain is mush. we are having wainscot/ tongue and groove panelling on the bottom, which i would like a darker colour than the painted walls but a similar shade. it will look similar to this when finished, with an oak shelf.

which do you prefer out of these:
sage greens, greys or grieges?

I like the sage greens.

Knittedfairies · 02/08/2018 13:41

Green-y greys but.... it is only a downstairs loo so try to stop the angst!

PurpleDaisies · 02/08/2018 13:41

Is the colour for the wood?

I really like the top right green.

Takfujimoto · 02/08/2018 13:53

If we are going from left to right-top to bottom then I like the 3rd square, green, then number 4.
1 & 2 are a bit meh, may look better on the walls, but 5 & 6 are too dark imo for a small restroom.

i was thinking of having each 'strip' as a colour combo - so the top colour on the walls and the bottom on the wood panelling, if that makes sense. so each is paired with the colour beneath it.

knitted - i know but we are renovating our whole house and it becomes a bit of a burden of decision fatigue after a while - it can grind you down!

I understand now. I think the green on the right is too dark to go with the colour below.

I’d put the green on the bottom and a much paper version on top.

IAmALionTamer · 02/08/2018 14:02

I agree with @purpledaisies

I really like that top sage green OP, what colour is it? It's exactly what I've been hunting for for our bedroom!

youngestisapsycho · 03/08/2018 11:06

The green in top corner for wood and a lighter colour on top.

SwedishEdith · 03/08/2018 12:23

I don't think the greens quite go with each other. The beige is very bland. The greys go but grey is getting a bit boring now.

yikesanotherbooboo · 03/08/2018 12:26

Greens

Kamma89 · 03/08/2018 13:50

Green all the way. Griege nope. Grey, meh
