I am having some internal works done to the second floor of my house and the building control officer says the design doesn't meet fire standards. The builder suggests Automist - when a fire is de texted a fine mist of water is sprayed into the room, suppressing fire and allowing more time to escape.
Has anyone got any experience of these? Specially, do they go off by mistake very often....
