Hi

Wanted to get an idea of whether I am getting a good deal on a Howdens kitchen. Although it looks good value compared to Ikea I am unsure and wanted to see if any of you had purchased through them and could provide your thoughts. There are 16 units altogether.

Items included are listed below:
larder unit 400mm wide
cupboard above fridge 1000mm wide
2 drawers - above & below oven 600mm wide
2 * 300mm wide cupboards, 1 wall, one floor
drawer unit below hob 900mm wide (2 drawers)
Floor pull out cupboard 200mm wide
wall unit 200mm wide
wall corner unit 1000 wide with 500mm door
floor carousel corner unit 1000 wide with 500mm door
floor corner unit 800mm with 350 door
microwave housing cupboard with cupboard above 600mm
wall corner unit
600 cupboard with integrated door for dishwasher
under sink cupboard 800mm wide
corner floor unit 800mm with 350 door
2 end panels 600mm wide
sink and tap
glass splashback for cooker
backboard
handles for all units

We are being quoted 4k for the Greenwich Gloss

TIA

If you do a comparative quote on DIY Kitchens, Howdens will beat it. Brough ours down aound 2k from where they started. Never take Howdens first price, they'll come down loads!

Thanks Hullabaloo! I will give that a go and see what I come up with on DIY kitchens

Not sure about price, but I've had 2 howden's kitchens (diff houses) and would definitely recommend.

Can't comment on price but just to say we have just had a Howdens kitchen put in. They beat our Ikea quote and it's really nice quality. Very happy with it

We had a Howdens kitchen back in 2008 in our first house; we just sold it and apart from the style being dated (pale wood doors with a darker laminate worktop) it’s still in good condition for a good few years yet.

Looks about right, we had a Howdens kitchen with 22 units put in about 3 months ago and it was about £1500 more (we got someone else to put it In) I got quotes from benchworks and another and Howdens were cheapest.

Very pleased with it, we had the Allendale.
