Moving house support thread

Hi, anyone else getting ready to move? My husband has just told me he may not be able to be around much during the week of the move so I'm a leetle nervous. My kids are older (11&13) so they will hopefully actually be helpful, but my health is not great and we have this heatwave and... and... and... I'm just nervous. We have lists coming out of our ears so I don't think I'll overlook anything. We have packers.

We're in the process of selling and buying but not yet exchanged. We're buying a new build from a Victorian house with large convertednloft for storage and cellar so I'm very mindful of trying to reduce crap before we move. I've got a 2yo and 5yo though so not much happening at the moment

We've got just under 4 weeks until we finally get into our property but being FTB with not too much heavy stuff we are going to hire a van to do it ourselves!

Just struggling to find a van as my partner isn't confident enough to drive it and I'm under 25 (by a few months!)
