How to style this lounge area?

Hey all,

Have only just moved into our new house a week ago and struggling to style this lounge area. We will eventually get a new sofa but in the mean time, what would you do to make this area a little less new and blank?

Would love to hear your suggestions. I do realise it is a complete mish mash of colours and styles :(

Can you put anything on the walls? I think that’s what’s lacking. Maybe a floor lamp and a coffee table?

On the wall with the sockets, an end table, or console, that you could then stand a vase or plant or something. And/Or a display of photos or pictures on that wall. Or a shelf unit or shelves? Not sure how permanent you are planning. A floor lamp in the other corner. A coffee table for sure.

Thanks. I do have a nest of marble tables with metal legs, I'll dig that out.

It's such a large wall with a very high ceiling. Hard to know what size prints to put up there....

A1 or even a0 size colourful print or canvas in the middle and I would personally paint that wall some light colour. Basically white with a hint of colour. Greenish would be nice as it would work with the garden view, assuming there will be some pots and greenery
