Paint UVPC windows?

The house we are buying has brown UVPC window frames...the internal doors are brown, the carpet is brown etc..its very dark for now but I am planning on changing the internal doors and flooring to brighten it right up!

Is it possible to paint? and how much could I expect to pay a tradesman to do this for me?

It's definitely possible, my mum did it recently (painted the frames herself) and the results look great.

This is a coincidence as I have been researching this topic on old threads on here, however I do not know how to post the link for you. I have the same issue regarding brown frames and a brown porch. It is definitely doable using the right paints, also there are companies who will spray paint them.

Sorry I don't have anything useful to suggest, but I'm following because I'd love to do the same! I've had quotes for UVPC sprayers and all companies are charging ridiculous prices, I'd rather do it myself

That is good to know cupcakes, let us know how you get on and what type of paint you purchase. Ironically I thought people opted for the brown frames as they are cheaper, turns out they are a more expensive!

Have a look at Making Spaces blog, the lady called Karen on there has painted her UPVC front door herself, and I think she's done a window frame too. Looks very smart/professional.

Thanks @jeanzbeanz I've found the blog and I love the door! Going to buy that exact paint next week and try it on the back door first :) if that goes well then I'll be painting the front door!
