Decorating two bathrooms - how to keep separate?

We need to redo two bathrooms and I'm stuck at planning the decorating because I realise I'm basically planning one bathroom in two rooms. I like the combination of white and navy but think it would odd to just replicate in two quite different rooms (small shows room & medium bathroom)

How did you keep yours separate when planning?

We did this, and have ended up with the same tiles in different colours.

I love the tiles, so it's fine!

But there do feel quite different (small shower room with plain white tiles in addition to the fancy ones; and a bigger room with sea side vibe).

Lots of people, including my DM who has spent loads of time here, don't even notice.
