Could have also titled this to sell or not to sell!! We are serious about selling and have an offer on the table which is a bit low but would possibly allow us to negotiate on the house we want to buy. However the list of pros and cons is getting a bit exhausting. So:
Scenario 1- stay where we are, good primary school round the corner for the kids, secondary school rubbish but slowly getting better, house is detatched but too small 2 and a half bedrooms 1 bathroom, no real room for visitors go stay but very affordable, no room on the plot for a big extension really, great location for ealking to our village.
Scenario 2- move to much bigger 5 bed period semi detached house nearby in next door village which is a bit cheaper but not much, house top of our budget but needs a bit of woek which we could do gradually, primary school not great but secondary amazing. Much higher mortgage but doable but would mean very little spare cash until youngest child has finished nursery. Can walk to shops etc.
Think I've listed the pros and cons. What would you do in similar situation? Dh is dead set on doing it, just don't know why I'm so unsure!
