Metal rawl plugs???

I have got what looks like metal rawl plugs above my windows (just taken a load of curtains/blinds down.

I have removed all the plastic ones I have come across but haven’t seen these before - probably a daft question but how do you remove them?

have you got plasterboard walls?

Post some pics.

BTW don't pull out plastic plugs. This is liable to pull out a crater of plaster. Just tap them slightly below the surface, and use a smudge of filler in the dimple.

To tap them in, put the point of a screw in the hole, and tap the screw lightly with a small hammer. To remove the screw afterwards, unscrew it. It is best to tap the plugss in when you first fit them, because this reduces the risk of plaster cracking. It also makes it easier to redecorate in future.

Thanks PJ - I tried tapping the plastic ones in but there wasn’t anywhere for them to go - they were standing proud.

I don’t think the walls are plasterboard they are solid but not sure - this is the best photo I can get wobbling on the sofa.

that one should unscrew

I think it's a www.screwfix.com/p/dewalt-plasterboard-fixings-metal-25mm-100-pack/69132 or similar intended for plasterboard.

Thanks PJ. I will have a go at unscrewing them.
