As in the title - has anyone fitted their own DIY Kitchens kitchen please?
If you have please could you let me know how difficult it was?
And whether you think you managed to achieve a good standard of fitting by fitting it yourself rather than paying a fitter to do it?
We're considering saving some pennies by doing the fitting ourselves, (only 10 or 11 units in total), and then just getting the trades in to fit the hob/ oven, worktop and sink.
The new kitchen will be almost a straight swap in regards to lay out and we are fairly handy people, though we have not attempted anything like this before.
I do like a good quality finish, so that is concerning me - but some of the fitters I have looked into locally seem to have mixed reviews, so I'm not sure that there is a stand out excellent fitter on our doorstep that we would definitely use to guarantee a quality finish.
Thanks!
