This is the latest issue my landlord is ignoring. Given it hasn't rained in 3 weeks, this looks a pretty major leak? No idea what the muck is, mould I guess but my house stinks. Is this major work to repair?

sorry but that is shit and toilet paper blocked drain and toilet waste backing up . Suspect drain under decking most drains don't completely block but you get a build up of solid waste. Water overflows drain full but water seeps past to solid blockage and when you come to check it looks ok fill a bath and let it out go and check your drain bet it's full and overflowing

sorry forgot to add thing with gaffer tape on looks like an open socket to put a pipe into should be capped off. at some point there has been an other waste pipe going into the main pipe. looks like it's been removed and just tapped over.
