We are looking at putting three velux windows, one of them electric, in our kitchen/diner roof to bring light into our desperately dark north facing living room. I've identified the size of velux that we need and that we'll need flashings but what else do I need to consider in all the added extras that Velux offers? Should I go for thermal glass and all the added extras please? It's for an extension roof area, installed 20 years ago, which has french doors and a window in the kitchen.
Any recommendations for Velux suppliers too gratefully received too.
