Pax hinge door and sliding door

Hello pax lovers,

Built 2x100 pax's and 1×50 pax joined together. The 100s have sliding door and the 50 has a hinged door. Finished adding all doors and soft close hinges.

The only thing stopping me from completing the herculean task is the side metal panel of the sliding door. Since the 50 and 100 are joined together, how do you guys add the metal strip on the door frame as it needs to slide into the frame a bit to be drilled in. Do i remove the connection between the 50 and 100?

I hope you guys understood what my problem is. Looking for some advice here please.
Thanks.

I think I understand what you're saying and yes you have to unjointed then re join them. I had this problem with some ikea wardrobes too

Thank you @plural for your response. Will try that. I was thinking on that line or maybe just letting go of the 50 to be free on her own.:->
Just wanted a confirmation of my thought from one of you gals.

Are they attached to the wall? I had to attach my all together to make them more sturdy as I haven't attached them to the wall

Yes, they r attatched to the wall. They are those full size monsters and that too with my bed beside it, i felt kinda intimidated and phobic. They dont budge e.ven a cm now. So firm to the wall.
