Cleaning mortar splashes off windows

Any advice for cleaning mortar splashes off windows? The bricklayers have left a little present on our brand new bifolds

on the glass? try a razor blade - works for paint

lot's of water, to lubricate the glass and loosen it slightly (it expands a bit when wet and contracts when dry)

The water will slightly reduce the risk of scratching the glass

Don't rub it

If you can get the blade under the edge that's best

You can also get decorators' scrapers with a stronger blade.
