Will Council still let me have property

Hi i have been offered a house via housing association.. however, i am unable to pay first months rent will they wait for housing benerfit to clear because i am on a low income..

I presume you’re on benefits such as universal credit/JSA/income support. I think you can ask for a budgeting look an to help pay your first months rent. Citizens advice, Shelter or afternoon he job Centre should be able to help direct you to the right place.
