Estate agent help!

countingdowntobedtimeagain · 06/07/2018 10:52

I’ve posted here hoping for more replies!

We’re completing on our new house in a week or so; our estate agents have gone above and beyond for us.

If you’re an estate agent what was your favourite thank you gift?

If you’ve given a gift and the estate agent loved it.. what was it?

Don't they make enough money in commission?! In the past I have given an EA a potted orchid for her office - she was fab and the house sold in record time to the first viewer. I think flowers/a bottle/chocolates are all fine. They'd probably appreciate an online review too.

We got a really good deal so it wasn’t on commission .. it was sort of a group effort too so don’t want to just buy a bottle of wine. Think chocs will be the best bet as they can share them x

I used to work for an estate agent, but in the lettings management office. The best presents the sales people got were chocolates or cakes or tins of biscuits, anything that could be shared with all staff

I'm wanting to do this too....I casually asked our EA ( well actually the Vendors EA but he has helped us so much) if he was a Red Wine or White wine person and he laughed and said neither more of a beer kind of guy so going to do him a little hamper of nice beers, snacks and some energy bars as I know he runs marathons for charity.

I like saying thank you to people that go the extra mile
