I've asked for recommendations from a few friends but no-one has come back to me yet, and I need to get one booked in asap! I'm based in the Bristol area.

Thank you!

Thanks, I've been on the RICS website but they all seem to have good reviews!

I got a recommendation from a friend. She suggested Setfords - they're based in Surrey but their conveyancers are all local and work from home as far as I can tell. Mine is fantastic and comes back with answers to my questions really quickly.

I can strongly recommend the one we have just used, they are RICS surveyors and we got a full survey for £600 and it was 42 pages long and very very detailed. Exceptionally impressed after some we have used before. Also very helpful on the phone with questions prior and after survey

Oh and they have bases in Bath and Bristol ❤️

@TheSecretMole I know I'm useless at this.... we contacted on a Friday and it was done the following Wednesday......sorry for the drip feed I'm half watching the football while crocheting a throw and browsing Mumsnet Grin

MissCherryCakeyBun Thank you! I’m exceptionally nervous about picking someone without recommendations! I will look up the one you used.

And nice multitasking!
