Room planning site?

I'm trying to find a website ( pref to an app but iPad app would be okay) I want to look at furniture layout in a house we are buying as it needs full rewire and plumbing it won't be easy to access for a while and I want to try and work out what furniture for what room and what I don't need to move ( and can sell )
There seem to be loads but I'm not sure at all which to use as many are very American based
Does anyone have any experience of using one? And yes I can do it on graph paper and have done in the past but on the pc it's easier for OH to do his share too

Roomle! You can use the website or the iPad app and save things between the two. I think you get one free plan - you have to subscribe for more but it's not very much and totally worth it in my opinion! There is a wide range of mock-up furniture that you can adjust to your own dimensions, plus lots of actual stuff from Ikea and other places.
