Flooring recommendation

We have just completed our extension and looking for recommendations for flooring for the kitchen and family room. It's 8m x 6m so it's a big space! Thinking of lvt, but should we get glue down or click? Or just go go laminate? Any recommendations would be gratefully received!!

We’ve had some Harvey Maria lvt laid. Absolutely love it, so easy to keep clean and has thus far remained unscathed from daily abuse from the kids.

My parents have had some Amtico in their place for 15 years - still looks brand new. The reason we went for Harvey Maria was because I wanted their Dee Hardwick range rather than just a faux wood/stone/tile effect.

Anyway, I really can’t praise lvt enough.

If it's between LVT & laminate, LVT hands down. We've just gone karndeen click as laying ourselves & amtico click didn't look great. If money no object all the floor guys we spoke to recommended glue down.

We spent ages choosing, I even came to MN & for some good advice. At the end of they day we were limited by budget but karndeen & amtico seemed to look the best. For the cheaper end karndeen beat amtico on looks but higher end this reversed.

@Kamma89 I think we are leaning towards a LVT click floor. Did you need underlay before flooring it? We are planning doing it ourselves too to save some money!

Look at polyflor too. It's the same quality as kardenean and amtico but cheaper. It's worth looking at the wear layer.

You need to have a very smooth under floor so if it's levelled concrete it's fine but if not you'll need MD's boards put down
