Chequerboard vinyl flooring for bathroom

Hi all,
I'm looking at getting some chequerboard vinyl flooring for the bathroom, but quality seems to vary a lot it seems. Received some samples that just tore in half.

Can anyone recommend a good quality vinyl brand/ seller for bathrooms?

Can't afford tiles sadly.

Looking at these two -

Marmoleum—it's linoleum, not vinyl.

Marmoleum will be dearer than vinyl though. Having lived in a house with a black and white checkerboard kitchen floor I wouldn't recommend it: everything shows up so in a bathroom every bit of fluff or hair will do and it will drive you mad.

wow Yes, dearer, but much nicer! I suggested it as OP was concerned with quality.
It also comes in mottled colours which don't show the dirt like plain black and white do.

OP - did you actually try to tear them as a way of testing them because I'm not sure that's going to help you decide how hard wearing it'll be on the floor.
