Have had a new bathroom fitted recently and plumber has left me with a functioning loo, bath and basin but ugly room! Walls with old tile adhesive which needs chipping off and smoothing over, holes in wall that need filling, skirting board missing, whole room to be painted etc. At least it's a small room.
Is this the job of a plasterer or not? The room needs a fair bit of prep before any plastering can begin and I'm not sure whether that's the job of someone else. I wouldn't know where to start filling in holes and adding skirting board and chipping adhesive off wall. The holes are deep and in quite awkward places too, on the ceiling and above the new tiles so not a simple scrape some polyfilla in type job. (Not the painting necessarily I can do that myself). The holes to be filled aren't huge but they are numerous and deep.
As you can tell, diy is not my strong suit!
