Has anyone got the John Lewis Mix It bedroom furniture? What do you think of the quality? Where can I view it in store?

We have a run of wardrobes from the MixIt range as an alternative to built in ones (and at a quarter of the price). They are heavy and sturdy, and took two of us the best part of a day to put together. There are 2 heights of wardrobe - we are in a modern house with standard ceiling heights so couldn’t go for the taller ones as you would not have enough ceiling height to build them.

I like the way you can configure them however you want, so I have single rails for long hanging space, double rails and lots of shelves. I have the soft close fittings but they don’t always fully close without an extra push.

Our local John Lewis has a small display of units, you can see the different door designs and colours and handles etc.

Thanks Buteo. Which store did you go to?

Saw it in a couple of stores (at opposite ends of the country though). You can check online if a store has a bedroom furniture section, or give them a ring first to check what they have.

Got this range for my DD and have been very impressed with its quality and look. It is quite confusing looking at the range online but the store people really know their range and were able to help. It obviously depends whereabouts you're based where you can get to to see it. They had a good range of stock in Welwyn Garden City (although this was last year and may have changed). Perhaps you need to ring around the stores near you to find out who stocks it.
