Anyone used Fridaysmove?

Hi all,

We're waiting to hear back on an offer we've made on a flat and sorting out solicitors in the meantime.
We've had a good quote from Fridaysmove but can't find much in the way of reviews online - anyone used them?

I'm taking the lack of response as a bad sign!

They've offered a competitive quote and include the building survey fee in their "no completion, no fee" guarantee...
I just can't quite bring myself to use solicitors with such an awful name...

I can't comment on this company I'm afraid but going on the regular threads of how bad online conveyancing firms are plus the lack of reviews, I would steer clear and use a recommended high street solicitors. Particularly useful for when they stop taking your calls so you can easily drop in and hassle them

Personally I wouldn't recommend fridaysmove. I was taken in by the website and 'testimonials' but in reality when we used them a few years ago all they did was give our business to a shoddy solicitors who were miles away from us. Given how poor our experience was I think the only way the solicitors we were paired with get business was through fridaysmove.

One example of how rubbish the solicitors were, first few weeks, all positive, surveys and searches done etc, then for 5 months... nothing... they don't respond to emails or phone messages. Then they send a huge parcel of paperwork to us in one go, chasing urgent responses, when we could see they had been sitting on the info for weeks but had not informed us. But we were made to feel slow and the blame for delays was on us.
Yes we did end up purchasing successfully using fridaysmove but the experience was very poor.
