Aqualisa HiQ Bath filler - instructions?

We moved in to a new house a while ago which has several Aqualisa showers. It also has what I have identified to be an Aqualisa HiQ bath filler. The previous owners left us absolutely no information or instructions for anything they left in the house (just a lot of shoddy electrics and wires plastered through walls!) and I cannot track down the instructions for this bath filler at all (other than the installation instructions). I've not yet had any help from Aqualisa either - apparently instructions do not exist!

Basically it has a depth setting which is supposed to mean that you can leave the bath to fill and it will stop at a "shallow", "normal" or "deep" level as you choose. This does not work. The bath just keeps filling at any setting until you switch it off. It does have a "setup" section on the controller but without instructions I'm none the wiser how to set it up.

Does anyone have one of these systems and can explain how it works. Or better yet a copy of some instructions they can photograph, if they do actually, after all, exist. We've been impressed with the Aqualisa showers, but this one is driving me crazy!

Gobbolino that's the product but these are only the installation instructions only. I can't see anywhere within them how to actually set the thing up!

There's instructions for the rise one online. Can you look.at them and see if they work?

Caroian · 18/06/2018 11:23

Thank you - I did ty looking at that but the Rise seems to work in a completely different way. You press and hold the start button to operate memory recording. The HiQu has a separate setting for setup, but it is positioned on the depth controller, so I don't know how to specify which depth you are setting as the controller is pointing to setup!

Not the most helpful post from me but purs also cuts put ‘owing to safety measures’ if the water is deemed to be too hot...means turning the temp down on the hit water cylinder & waiting hours Angry

We tried to get Aqualisa round once. I was advised by their call centre staff that I could be a 15 min drive away and get a call from the engineer to give me notice of his arrival so I could be on site.

The engineer rang & told me that as I wasn’t present at the time of him making the call to tell me his ETA, he’d have to cancel the appointment and I’d be charged £125!!!

I told them all to listen to the recorded call I had made & funnily enough, they never sent me the invoice.

Anyway... the attached is what you need. Good luck!

Have a shower

Caroian · 18/06/2018 18:26

@Mummagump You are a star! MN always delivers! And isn't it simple when you know how! Sorry Aqualisa weren't great, but at least they didn't charge you for that call out.

Gobbolino - they hadn't got back to me, although funnily enough they now have and will post the instructions out. Although why they need to be posted I don't know - MN has been more useful!

And lyn I usually do, but sometimes I fancy a bath, and I have a child who prefers to be bathed.

Phew! Relieved! Ours is so temperamental I was just hoping you weren’t cursing me. Glad it’s sorted. Smile

Thank You so much, I was pulling my hair out trying to get the shower and bath to do what I wanted.

Alas I found a digital version that is easier to read and thought it might be appreciated if I uploaded it here too for ease of access for others too.

Sorry the screenshots are not quite in order but the expect you can figure it out.

Best wishes for happy bath times at the right temperature and without having to press the button a million times just to fill a bath 😂
