Leather repair costs

I’m wondering if anyone can give an idea on how much it would cost to repair leather sofas? There are a few minor (cat) scratches which I think can just be covered in the solution(?) they use, but the main one is on the arm which I think might need to be re-leathered. Due to the way the sofa faces I only spotted how bad it is this morning!

I can’t find any costs online and I’d like to have an idea as I’ll likely need to take time off work for someone to visit for a quote.

TIA

Could you not get an idea by having a chat on the phone with a leather repair company?

2 I’ve spoken to have said they’d need to come take a look, could be a sales tactic I suppose. At worst, I just need to know a cost to recover the entire arm part.

But I don’t want to waste my time and theirs if it would cost half as much as a new sofa for example.

My parents had a quote to replace their sofa cushions, a hide was £6-800 depending on size. I guess it depends whether they need to buy something in specifically for your job or whether it might be small enough for any offcuts they have.

Oh dear one sofa was only around 1200!

Thats why you need them to come out, it depends on size, type, quality of leather. They might have something left over that cuts the cost massively, or not.

My parents decided to replace their furniture as three cushions would have cost £2,400 to replace like for like which was the cost of one of their new sofas.
