Plastering costs

Can anyone help with some guidance on what to expect to pay for plastering? We’re buying a house (3 bed 1930s semi) that has what looks like exterior pebbledash 😱 on the master bedroom walls, and artex on the Ceiling and walls above the picture rail in the living room. Just wondering if anyone could advise what sort of bill to expect for taking them back to brick and replastering? Thanks in advance x

Our plasterers were £200 per day for 2 blokes. It may take a day or two to take it back to brick, then the brick gets primed, after that the walls are dry lined then they are skimmed. At least 5 days work I would guess. If you're going totally back to brick you'll probably want new skirting boards so factor in the cost of a joiner as well.

We had an entire 4 bed house (also 1930s) taken back to brick and replastered and it came to about £8k, it was the best money we spent during the renovation.
